1. date:（美式英語）to be having a relationship with someone, especially a relationship that is not very serious yet男女之間的約會，尤其指還沒確定關系的情況。

例：

How long have Paul and Sue been dating? （保羅和蘇處了多久了？）

2. be seeing: to have a romantic or sexual relationship with someone, especially a relationship that is not very serious and does not last very long 兩人之間發(fā)展親密關系，但雙方不打算認真對待也不會長久維持的關系，一般都叫做''be seeing somebody''。

Do you know if she's seeing anyone at the moment? （你知道她現(xiàn)在有跟誰在交往嗎？）

解析：
