（2） bummed: disappointed 失望

例：

例：

He 's been beating himself up because of the failure of his marriage. （對(duì)于失敗的婚姻，他常常過(guò)于自責(zé)。）

If you do your best and you lose, you can't beat yourself up about it. （如果你盡力了，即便輸了也不用過(guò)于自責(zé)。）

2. Ted: Robin was into me when we first met. （我們初次相遇時(shí)羅賓就對(duì)我有意思了。）

解析：

into: to like and be interested in something or somebody 喜歡，感興趣

I ' m really into folk music. （我非常喜歡民歌。）

He was never into sports. （他對(duì)體育從來(lái)不感興趣。）

I usually enjoy her books, but I just couldn 't get into this one. （她的書(shū)我基本都喜歡，但這本我怎么都喜歡不起來(lái)。）

備注： 在劇中，表示“對(duì)某人有意思”，用了 ''be into somebody'' ；如果喜歡的程度再深一點(diǎn)，就可以用 ''have a crush on somebody'' 。下次遇到類似的情境，就不要只會(huì)說(shuō) ''like/love'' 了。

舉個(gè) ''have a crush on somebody'' 的例子：

解析：

（1） fancy: fancy hotels, restaurants, cars etc. are expensive and fashionable 豪華的

例：

Harry took me to a fancy restaurant for our anniversary. （我們周年慶的時(shí)候，哈利帶我去了個(gè)豪華餐廳。）

He drives a big, fancy car. （他開(kāi)著一輛很大的豪車。）

（2） anywhere:

原意是“任何地方”，經(jīng)常用作比喻“成效、進(jìn)步”。

例：

His career isn 't going anywhere. （他的事業(yè)一點(diǎn)都沒(méi)起色。）

It seemed like a good idea, but it never went anywhere. （這個(gè)主意看起來(lái)不錯(cuò)，但是沒(méi)效果。）

We're working hard but we don't seem to be getting anywhere. （我們很努力，但我們好像沒(méi)有進(jìn)步。）

Arguing will not get us anywhere. （吵架不能幫我們解決問(wèn)題。）
