我們來看一下big deal具體怎么用。

big deal作為名詞，指的就是“大事”或“大人物”，something of great importance or consequence or an important person。

例：He is a big deal in the fashion industry. （他是個時裝界的大人物。）

big deal作為感嘆詞就正好是相反的意思了。說的時候要注意語氣，自動腦補漢語中“那又怎樣”那種拽拽的語氣，書面語最好不要用。It is used ironically when you do not think something is as important as someone else thinks it is.（諷刺地表達事情沒有別人想的那么嚴重、重大）。

例：

It's just a game. If you lose, big deal. （只是場比賽，即使輸了又怎么樣?。?/span>

接著，我們看看跟big deal長的很像的no big deal該怎么用呢？

It’s no big deal. = It’s not a big deal. 也是口語用詞，可以用在兩種情境下：

（1）It is said in order to show that you are not upset or angry about something that has happened. 表示說話人對發(fā)生的事沒生氣

例：

It's no big deal. Everybody forgets things sometimes. （沒事啊，誰都會偶爾忘事兒?。?/span>

（2）It is said in order to show that something is not important. 不要緊，沒關(guān)系

例：

The kids won't get many presents this year, but that’s no big deal.（今年沒法買太多兒童玩具給孩子了，不過這也不是什么大事。）

It's not that big a deal. 在美國口語中很常見，“不值一提”的意思。發(fā)音時注意big的g和后面的a的連讀。
